Growing up in a traditional Asian family, I was raised to prioritize practicality—but always kept a sketchbook hidden under my math homework. Over time, I blended my family’s focus on stability with my love for art, learning to balance logic and creativity in everything I design.

Today, I wield design like a second language to crafting tools that empower, journeys that delight, and experiences that forge connection.

For me, great design isn’t about what you build, but why: empathy that translates data into humanity, and systems that scale because they respect people’s time, trust, and quirks. High School

This is where it all started—my creative path kicked off!

I was all about crafting and exploring every artistic corner I could find.

College

Crafting and modeling became my new obsession.

I loved working with my hands and bringing ideas to life, each project adding a new layer to my understanding of design.

College

As I progressed, I explored various design directions.

Each new technique and theory expanded my horizons and deepened my passion for the field.

College

Then, I discovered Product Design.

It was a total game-changer—I was hooked. This discovery shaped the direction of my future projects and defined my path in design.

Part-Time

I discovered the thrill of creating visuals that not only looked good but also met the exact needs of stakeholders.

It was like solving puzzles with design, and I loved every minute of it.

Grad School

Interactive and multimedia design opened up new worlds for me.

Grad school was a game-changer, expanding my creative landscape and furnishing it with endless possibilities.

Now

Today, I'm weaving together all the knowledge and skills I've picked up along the way.

Every class, every project has shaped me into the product designer I am now, continually learning and evolving on this incredible journey.

My Hobby

Film Photography

What I love most about film photography is the delightful surprise of developing a roll of negatives. It's like unwrapping a gift—each photo brings the past moments back to life, complete with all the feelings and experiences of when I first clicked the shutter.
